CO -  Founder

Teacher Kie's love for music began in early childhood. She started piano lessons at just four years old and carried that enthusiasm through her school years, playing flute in both primary and secondary school bands—experiences that deepened her passion and set her on the path to pursue music professionally.

She went on to study music performance and teaching at the prestigious Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, learning under Mr Lenn Vorster (piano), Ms Mardi Mcsullea (flute), and Mr Andrew McLeod (piccolo). During this time, she also discovered her love for music pedagogy under Mr Ian Geoffrey, finding her true calling as an educator.

Now back in Singapore, Teacher Kie remains dedicated to her own growth. She continues studying piano with Mr Timothy Ku, completed pedagogy studies with Ms Julie Tan, and is a certified Suzuki method teacher trained under Ms Katarzyna Borowiak. She believes that learning from wonderful mentors keeps her teaching fresh, warm, and meaningful.

As the co-founder of Musox School of Music Crafters, Teacher Kie creates a nurturing space where young musicians can explore and grow. Her approach is gentle and encouraging—celebrating each child's victories and walking alongside them through every challenge.

Above all, Teacher Kie believes every child has music within them, waiting to be discovered. With patience and warmth, she loves helping young learners unlock their confidence and joy.
